Obituary of Theadora L. Barnes

Theadora L. Barnes, age 102, of Mansfield, PA, died on Monday, November 17, 2014 at Carleton Senior Care in Wellsboro, PA. She was born August 31, 1912 in Tioga, PA a daughter of Cassius and Edith (Jones) Cummings. Theadora enjoyed watching the Yankees, crocheting and she saved cards. Theadora is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Emery and Cheryl Barnes, Jr. of Mansfield, PA; 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Ann and Edward Tokarz of Frederickburg, VA, Donna and Bill Youmans of Mansfield, PA; 2 brothers and a sister-in-law, Duane Cummings of Wellsboro, PA, Cecil and Martha Cummings of Deland, FL; 9 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; 1 step great grandson. She was predeceased by her husband, Emery L. Barnes, Sr. in 1966; an infant son, William Barnes, May 22, 1935; grandson, Jeffrey Tokarz, May 11, 1988; brothers, Maynard, Luther, Reed, Jesse and Gordon. Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, November 20, 2014 from Noon to 2:00 P.M. at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Harry Colegrove officiating. Burial will be in Prospect Cemetery, Mansfield, PA.
