Obituary of David K Ames

David K. Ames, age 57, of Mansfield, PA, died Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at his home. He was born March 1, 1957 in Wareham, MA, a son of George and Evelyn (Morse) Ames. David was a mechanic for Tri-State; a retired firefighter in Wareham, MA; worked on the Cranberry Bogs in MA, and at the Esbern Dairy Farm, Mansfield, PA. He was a member of the River of Life Church, Mansfield, PA. David is survived by a brother, Kenny Baptiste of Wareham, MA; 4 sisters and a brother-in-law, Marie and Butch Meir, Vicki and John Parker, Alyse and Steve Vaughn and Jessica Hasslebach all of FL; a special niece, Janet Dauphinais of Mansfield; niece and nephew, Jay and Amanda Weddleton of Mansfield; several other nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at 3:00 P.M.at the River of Life Church, 14495 Rte. 6, Mansfield, PA with Pastor Keith Paris officiating. Immediately follow the service everyone is invited to attend a meal at the church. Please bring a dish to pass.
