Obituary of Mary Ann Walker

Mary Ann Walker, age 70, of Mansfield, PA, died Saturday, October 18, 2014 at her home. She was born January 26, 1944 in Wellsboro, PA, a daughter of Wayne and Gladys (Quimby) Knowlton. Mary Ann was married to the late Allen L. Walker of Mansfield, PA. She worked as an assistant librarian at the Mansfield Free Public Library, enjoyed quilting and sewing and was a retired calligrapher. Mary Ann is survived by her first husband and father of her children, C. Haines Scureman; 2 sons, Mark H. Scureman of Mansfield, PA, Daniel W. Scureman of Lawrenceville, VA; a daughter, Ria V. Scureman of Raleigh, NC; a step-son, Iain L. (Rachael) Walker of Green Castle, IN; several grandchildren, including Evan (Megan) Scureman and Steven Scureman; a great grandson, Thomas Scureman; 2 brothers and sisters-in-law, Kent and Linda Knowlton of Victor, NY, Garth and Karyl Knowlton of Pioneer, CA; a brother-in-law, Joseph (Linda) Walker of Muncy, PA; a sister, Mary Kay (Bill) Gee of Wellsboro, PA; 2 sisters-in-law, Pamela (Dan) Shipe of Wellsboro, PA, Amy (Mark) Murdough of Pine City, NY. Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 from 6:00 to 7:30 P.M. at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA.
