Obituary of Ernest Leroy Burrows

Ernest Leroy Burrows, Jr., age 68, of Millerton, PA, died Friday, October 3, 2014. He was born October 29, 1945, a son of Ernest Burrows and Eloise Miller. He married Vera Peterson. He enjoyed helping people, attending auctions, traveling and spending time with his family. He also loved spoiling his 3 Dachshunds. Ernest is survived by his wife, Vera; 3 sons, Nathan Burrows, Jason Burrows and Jonathan Burrows, all of Millerton, PA; a granddaughter, Miranda Grover of Elmira Heights, NY; sisters, Rose Neally of Tioga, PA, Shirley Button of Lawrenceville, PA, Judy Farr of Lawrenceville, PA, Sandy Cushing of Lawrenceville, PA, Iris Bower of Wellsboro, PA, and Roxie Miller of Elmira, NY; several half-sisters and a half-brother; sister-in-law, Lori Richards of Gillett, PA; brother-in-law, El Peterson of Horseheads, NY; brother-in-law, Le Peterson of Austin, TX; mother-in-law, Raymond and Bertha Peterson of Millerton, PA; several nieces and nephews. In keeping with Ernest's wishes, there will be no services. Memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Care Sanctuary, 11765 Rte. 6, Wellsboro, PA 16901.
