Obituary of Linda M Simpson

Linda M. Simpson, age 63, of Tioga, PA, died on Sunday, September 28, 2014 in the Williamsport Regional Medical Center, Williamsport, PA. Born on January 13, 1951 in Aberdeen, MD, she was the daughter of James Eugene Herbert, Sr. and Mary (Clancy) Ross. Linda was a homemaker who enjoyed embroidery, crochetting, sewing and spending time with her family. She was a member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church in Tioga, PA. Linda is survived by a son, Edward Barnhart of Tioga, PA; three daughters and a son-in-law, Shari and Arnold Woody of Dayton, TN, Shreen Loring of Pensacola, FL, Skie Barnhart of Jacksonville, FL; three brothers, James Herbert, Jr. of Hornell, NY, Thomas Herbert of Casper, WY, Stanley Ross, Jr. of Ormond Beach, FL; six sisters, Brenda Davis of Tioga, PA, Dianna Matthews of Truth or Consequences, NM, Ginger Puffer of Cameron Mills, NY, Veronica Martindill of Deland, FL, Josephine Ross of Louisville, KY, Denise Welander of Deland, FL; six grandchildren: Barry Kauffman, Zachary Kauffman, Courtney Bednarz, Matthew Michaels, Meaghan Michaels, Gabriella Barnhart and her step-father, Stanley Ross, Sr. Family and friends are invited to attend a service for Linda on Friday, October 3, 2014 at 1:00 PM at the Tabernacle Baptist Church, 9 Meadow St., Tioga, PA.
