Obituary of Iloe C. Farrer
Iloe C. (Hunter) Farrer, age 81, of Mansfield, PA, died on Thursday, September 25, 2014 in Broad Acres Health and Rehabilitation Center, Wellsboro, PA. Born on November 23, 1932 in Mansfield, PA, she was the daughter of Cliff and Elizabeth (Husted) Slade. Iloe is survived by her husband, Thomas W. Farrer, Sr.
Prior to her retirement, Iloe managed The Hutch, the Hallmark Gift Shop and was owner/operator of The Country Store Gifts & Antiques in Mansfield, PA. Iloe was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Mansfield, PA.
In addition to her husband,Thomas, she is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Sharlene Farrer, Jr. of Mansfield, PA; three daughters and sons-in-law, Deborah and Robert Wood of Mansfield, Mary and James Delinski of Mansfield, Sally and Fred McLuckie of Washington, DC; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Brian Hunter of Bath, NY, David and Judy Hunter of Bath, NY; a sister, Sally Schultz of Bath, NY; 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Iloe was predeceased by a son, William D. Farrer in 1997.
At her request, services will be private. Memorial contributions may be made in Iloe's memory to the Mansfield Food Pantry, c/o Mrs. Barbara McConnell, 140 Wakefield Terrace, Mansfield, PA 16933 and the Green Free Library, 134 Main St., Wellsboro, PA 16901. Burial will be in the Oakwood Cemetery, Mansfield, PA. Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA is assisting the family. www.buckheitfcandcrematory.com
