Obituary of Sam Joseph Anastasio
Sam Joseph Anastasio, age 72, of Millerton, PA, died Saturday, August 16, 2014 at Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA. Sam was born January 25, 1942 in Reading, PA, a son of Joseph and Josephine (Albert) Anastasio. He celebrated a 26th wedding anniversary with his wife, Sherri (Matz) Anastasio on September 4, 2013. Sam was an electrical engineer for Lucent Technology (Bell Labs) in Reading, PA and after his retirement, worked as a computer service technician. He served in the Army Reserves.
Sam is survived by his wife, Sherri; her siblings and additional family and friends. He is also survived by his beloved canine companion, Heidi.
