Obituary of Ivan M. Finch

Type Obit Here Ivan M. Finch age 76 of Tioga, PA, died Thursday, February 2, 2007 at Corning Hospital. Ivan was the husband of Yvonne Dolly (Mosher) with whom he would have observed a 55th wedding anniversary on May 24, 2007. Ivan was born on July 29, 1930 in Wellsboro, PA, a son of Hugh and Erma (Roupp) Finch. Ivan was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He enjoyed farming, fishing and hunting. Ivan was an employee of Corning Inc. for forty five years. He was a member of the Flint Glass Workers Union Local 1000. Ivan was a US Army Veteran. He attended the West Jackson Baptist Church. Ivan is survived by his wife Yvonne Dolly of Tioga, PA, two daughters and sons-inlaw Cindy and Carl Hutcheson of Millerton, PA, Marletta and Norman Williams of Safford, AZ, a son and daughter-in-law David and Mary Finch of Beaver Dams, NY, four grandchildren Michael Hutcheson, Teresa Degarmo, Jeffery Hutcheson, Tina Smith, two great grandchildren Dakota Williams, Isaac Smith, two brothers and a sister-in-law Merle Benauer of Tioga, PA, Duward Dewey and Lillian Benauer of Lawrenceville, PA. He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson Clint Williams in 2003. Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Monday, February 5, 2007 from 5 to 7 PM at the Jacquelyn A. Buckheit Funeral Chapel, Crematory & Monuments, PC 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA.
