Obituary of Joseph C. Housel
Joseph "Joe" Charles Housel, age 46, of Wellsboro, PA, died Friday, August 1, 2014 unexpectedly. Joe was born on January 9, 1968 in Wellsboro, PA, a son of Charles and Wilda (King) Housel. He was recently employed at Buildings Inc. in Mansfield, PA. He attended Community Chapel Church of Wellsboro. Joseph enjoyed NASCAR collecting, riding motorcycles, Green Bay Packers and spending time with his family.
Joe is survived by two daughters; Brittany Housel of Elkland, PA, Kyleigh Housel of Tioga, PA; three sons; Charles Joseph "C.J." Housel of Tioga, PA, Ben Housel of Antrim, PA, Kris Housel of Wellsboro, PA; three sisters, Andrea (Samuel) Irwin of Blossburg, PA, Amber (Basil) Stevens of Wellsboro, PA, Michelle Lorson of Williamsport, PA; four brothers, Richard (Hedie) Housel of West Virginia, Thomas (Nancy) Housel of Covington, PA, Doyce Treat of Wellsboro, PA, Nevin (Delores) Treat of Mansfield, PA; 2 granddaughters,13 nieces and Nephews, and 4 great nieces.
Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, August 14, 2014 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at the Community Chapel Church of Wellsboro, PA, 69 West Ave., Wellsboro, PA. A memorial service will be held immediately following the visitation at 6:00 PM at the church with Rev. David Blowers officiating. Graveside service will be in West Hill Cemetery, Galeton, PA on Friday August 15, 2014 at 1:00 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the church in Joe's memory. Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA is assisting the family.
