Obituary of Ronald C. Miller
Ronald C. Miller, husband, father, grandfather and friend, age 81, of Covington, PA, passed away Friday, July 25, 2014 at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro, PA. He was born January 26, 1933 in Wellsboro, PA, a son of Clarence and Elsie (Manning) Miller. Ronald graduated from Wellsboro High School in 1950 and Mansfield University in 1954. He furthered his education at Colby College, Tuft's University, Cornell and was certified at Bucknell to be a principal. Ronald was a 1st Lt. in the Army National Guard. Ronald served as principal at North Penn High School for 7 years and taught physics and chemistry there for 31 years. He was a radio control model airplane flyer and builder, a stone mason, built fire places, was an avid hunter, fisherman, camper, and really enjoyed Canada.
Ronald is survived by the love of his life, Anne, his wife of 57 years; a daughter and son-in-law, Cherry and Ted Wilson of Mansfield, PA; a son, Ronald C. Miller II of Carlisle, PA; 3 grandchildren; Chad Smith, Ronald C. Miller III, Jacob Miller; a great granddaughter, Olivia Smith; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by 2 brothers, Frank and Robert Miller.
