Obituary of Shannon A. Hickok

Shannon A. Hickok, age 43, of Troy, PA, died Wednesday, May 21, 2014, at Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA. She was born August 4, 1970 at Luke Air Force Base, AZ, a daughter of William and Carol Anne (Mijal) Hendell. Shannon was a LPN and had been employed at Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA and Troy Hospital, Troy, PA. She enjoyed watching her children in sporting events, reading novels, and enjoyed drawing. Shannon is survived by her father, William Hendell of Fredericksburg, VA; her mother, Carol Anne Hendell; her former husband and father of her children, Jerry Hickok of Troy, PA; 2 sons, Jeffery Hickok of Mansfield, PA. Joshua Hickok of Troy, PA; 2 daughters, Ashley and Rachel Hickok, both of Troy, PA; 4 brothers and sisters-in-law, William and Tammy Hendell of Karns City, PA, Matthew and Christine Hendell of York, PA, Thomas Hendell of Kilmarnock, VA, Michael and Samantha Hendell of Reading, PA; a sister and brother-in-law, Suzannah and Josh Young of Fredericksburg, VA. Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, May 25, 2014 from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. A memorial service will follow the visitation at 4:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Rev. Gary Zuber officiating. Burial will be in Hunt Cemetery, Troy Township, PA.
