Obituary of Fred A. Nybeck
Fred A. Nybeck, Jr., age 49, of Morris Run, PA, died Thursday, May 15, 2014 at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro, PA. Fred was born June 13, 1964 in Blossburg, PA, a son of Fred A. Sr. and Mary Jane (Grimm) Nybeck. He was a caregiver for Independent Care Living. Fred was a biker, and a member of the American Legion Post 167 in Morris Run, PA. Fred enjoyed hanging out at the Pump & Pantry with his friends and family, camping, riding 4 wheelers, building and remodeling, and repoing cars.
Fred is survived by a daughter, Gayle (Patrick) Plank of Blossburg, PA; his domestic partner, Theresa Muszynski for over 34 years; his mother, Mary Jane (Grimm) Nybeck of Morris Run, PA; 2 step-sons, LaRue (Carrie) Muszynski of Morris Run, PA, David (Michelle) Muszynski of Bath, NY; a step-daughter, Bridget (Rob) Fleet of Canton, PA; a brother, Tom (Trish) Overpeck of Wellsboro, PA; 5 sisters, Linda (Lee) Nybeck of Troy, PA, Rose Leonard of Morris Run, PA, Peggy (Andy) Holley of Morris Run, PA, Martha (Tim) Wilcox of Morris Run, PA; Kathy Young of Williamsport, PA; 10 grandchildren, Jeremy, Jade, Devon, Dylan, Cameron, Hunter, Nevaeh, Andrew, Caleb and Dylan; special nephew, Cody Mills; several special nieces and nephews; a special friend, Bob Heck of Covington, PA; Fred was predeceased by his father, a brother, Robert Overpeck, and a special brother-in-law, Marlin Mills.
Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, May 19, 2014 from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 6:00 P.M. with Rev. Lon Williams officiating. www.buckheitfcandcrematory.com
