Obituary of Ralph Conrad Johns
Ralph Conrad Johns, age 58, of Mansfield, PA, died Monday, April 14, 2014 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Ralph was born May 13, 1955 in Elmira, NY, a son of Wilbur W. and Margaret (Stull) Johns. He celebrated 22 1/2 years of marriage with Sarah (Bolt) Johns. Ralph was owner and operator of Mill Creek Equipment Sales and Service for 12 years. He had worked as an electrician at Kennedy Valve for 5 years. He was a member of Living Word Fellowship. Ralph enjoyed hunting, fishing, stocking trout, cutting firewood, coaching soccer, baseball, was a NASCAR fan and an original Star Trek fan. Ralph was an excellent drummer and played a snare drum with the Roseville Rinky Dinks.
Ralph is survived by his wife, Sarah; a daughter, Jamaica Johns of Mansfield, PA; 4 sons and daughters-in-law, Jason Johns of Millerton, PA, Travis and Maggie Johns of Mansfield, PA, David and Cyndi Johnson of Mansfield, PA, Zachary Johnson of Mansfield, PA; 4 grandchildren, Emerald Walker, Ava and Jacob Johnson, Gabrielle Johns; a brother and sister-in-law, Thomas and Anita Moran of Portland, OR; 2 sisters and a brother-in-law, Louise and Ross Neu of Troy, PA, Linda Johns of Lantana, FL. Ralph was predeceased by his parents, Sarah's son, Jacob M. W. Johnson in 1986.
Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, April 18, 2014 from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. and Saturday, April 19, 2014 from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. Funeral services will follow on Saturday at 10:00 A.M. at the funeral chapel with Pastor J. Robert Vaughan officiating. Burial will be at Wildwood Cemetery, 1151 Cemetery St., Williamsport, PA.
