Obituary of Carol Jean Rice
Carol Jean Rice, age 69, of Roseville, PA, died Friday, March 28, 2014 at Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester, NY. Carol was born December 22, 1944 in Elmira, NY, a daughter of Carl and LaVera (Rose) Sterling. She was employed by Deb's Day Care until her retirement. Carol was an active member of Roseville United Methodist Church and was involved in the church choir, Bible School and the Harvest Party. She enjoyed singing and sewing. Carol served on the Roseville Cemetery Board.
Carol is survived by nieces and nephews, Karen and Ralph Thomas, Bobby and Jeanie Seeley, Kathy and Bob Dinger, Kevin Seeley, Matthew and Anggi Sterling, Richard Sterling, Daryl and Nancy Sterling and Sara and Michael D?Ancona; several great nieces and nephews; a brother and sister-in-law, Verle and Janice Sterling of Roseville; a sister, Barbara Seeley of Roseville. She was predeceased by a brother-in-law, Robert "Bob" Seeley, in 2007.
Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, April 5, 2014 from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. at the Roseville United Methodist Church, Rte. 549, Roseville. Funeral services will follow at 4:00 P.M. at the church with Pastor Michelle Bodle and Pastor William Pipp officiating. Burial will be in Roseville Community Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made in Carol's memory to the Roseville United Methodist Church, 4118 Rte. 549, Mansfield, PA 16933. Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S.
