Obituary of Arnold Bliss

Type Obit Here Arnold James Bliss, age 74, of Lawrenceville, PA died Tuesday, November 6, 2007 at the Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital in Wellsboro, PA. He was the husband of Elaine (Kinner) Bliss. Arnold was born on June 29, 1933 in Shinglehouse, PA the son of Robert and Bernice (Douglas) Bliss. He had been employed as a nurse at Skylar Hospital in Watkins Glen, NY, and a manager at the McDonalds in Corning, NY. Arnold was a member of the Church of Christ of Latter Day Saints, Mansfield, PA, and the AARP. Arnold is survived by his wife, Elaine, of Lawrenceville, PA; a son and daughter-in-law, James and Carol Bliss of Blossburg, PA; a daughter, Kimberly Potter of Waverly, NY; 5 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and a sister, Beverly Swinley Brown of Elkland, PA. Arnold was preceded in death by a daughter, Melodi Forson, in 2004. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Sunday, November 18, 2007 at 2 PM at The Jacquelyn A. Buckheit Funeral Chapel, Crematory & Monuments, PC 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA with President Michael Reid officiating.
