Obituary of Bonnie S. Updyke

Bonnie S. Updyke, age 75, of Tioga, PA, passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. Bonnie was born January 22, 1939 in Muncy, PA, a daughter of Earl and Sara (Senseman) Smith Hughes. She was a long-time resident of Tioga since the age of three. Bonnie and her husband, Ralph L. Updyke, would have celebrated 57 years of marriage this year. She was a member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, Tioga, PA. Bonnie always enjoyed spending time with her family and caring for her animals. Bonnie is survived by her husband, Ralph; 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Alan and Gina Updyke of Tustin, CA, James and Jennifer Updyke of Wellsboro, PA; a daughter and son-in-law, Sallie and James Mundy of Tioga, PA; 7 grandchildren, Jon, Jared, James, Ralph, John, Bonnie Kate and Cullen; special niece, Kathy Gee of Tioga, PA. Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, March 8, 2014 from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M. at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. A memorial service will follow at 3:00 P.M. with Pastor Harry Colegrove officiating.
