Obituary of Virginia E. Wean

Virginia E. Wean, age 79, of Mansfield, PA, died Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at her home. She was born October 20, 1934 in Middleboro, MA, a daughter of George and Ella (Snell) Ames. Virginia was the widow of Eugene Wean. She attended the River of Life Fellowship Church in Wellsboro, PA, was a member of the Sisters in Spirit, enjoyed cooking, canning, crossword puzzles, plants, Sudoku, and loved the ocean. Virginia is survived by a daughter, Karen Weddleton of Mansfield, PA; 2 grandchildren, Janet Dauphinais and John "Jay" (Amanda) Weddleton; 7 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; a brother, John Ames of Yarmouth, ME. She was predeceased by her husband, Eugene, a son, William Dickess in 1993, and brothers, Eddie and George Ames. There will be a celebration of life at the River of Live Fellowship, 14495 Rte. 6, Mansfield, PA on Saturday, March 1, 2014 at 3:00 P.M.
