Obituary of Lester David Wolf
Lester David Wolf, age 86, of Millerton, PA, died Monday, February 10, 2014 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born October 31, 1927 in Jutland, NJ, a son of David and Florence (Stiers) Wolf. He is survived by his wife, Sandra (Howe) Wolf. Lester was a farmer and heavy equipment operator and carpenter in Hunterdon County, NJ. He was a member of the Kingwood Township Volunteer Fire Dept. in NJ, and a founding member of the Alexandria Deer Club, NJ.
Lester is survived by his wife, Sandra; a son and daughter-in-law, Lester Edward and Jennifer Jane Wolf of Troy, PA; a daughter and son-in-law, Arlene Alice and Larry Jerzak of Millerton, PA; a sister, Esther (Larry) Sleznikow of Wisconsin; 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his first wife, Elsie Gustafson in 1980; a daughter, Christine Ann Robbins in 2004; a son, Norman Lee Wolf in 2007; a brother, Arthur; 3 sisters, Katherine, Hazel and Dorothy.
Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, February 13, 2014 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. and Friday, February 14, 2014 from 11:00 A.M. to Noon at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. Funeral services will follow at noon at the funeral chapel with Bill Baker officiating. Burial will be in Jobs Corners Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Lester's memory to the American Heart Assoc., 613 Baltimore Drive, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702, or to the Parkinsons Disease Foundation, 1359 Broadway, Suite 1509, New York, NY 10018.
