Obituary of Terry A. Thomas

Terry A. Thomas, age 63, of Mansfield, PA, died unexpectedly Saturday, January 18, 2014 at his home. Terry was born June 8, 1950 in Wellsboro, PA, a son of Douglas E. Sr. and Ruth D. (Sargent) Thomas. He was a self-employed carpenter. Terry was a member of Lambs Creek Sportsmen's Club and had served in the National Guard. Terry is survived by his mother, Ruth of Mansfield, PA; a special God-son, Parker Morgan of Mansfield, PA; 3 brothers and sisters-in-law, Douglas and Jody Thomas of Mansfield, PA, Dave and Pam Thomas of Morris Run, PA, Michael Thomas of Greenfield, MA; a sister, Joy Cummings of Mansfield, PA; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Terry was predeceased by his father, Douglas E. Thomas, Sr. A private funeral service will be held at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA with Pastor T. J. Freeman officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Mansfield, PA. Family and friends are invited to a social gathering at the Mansfield Fire Hall on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 from 12:00 to 2:00 P.M. in remembrance of Terry's life.
