Obituary of Dianne L Buckheit
Dianne L. Buckheit, age 75, of Spring Grove, PA, died on Thursday, January 9, 2014 in the York Hospital, York City, PA. Born on April 30, 1938 in York Township, she was the daughter of Guy and Mabel (Hengst) Stambaugh. Diane was the wife of John E. Buckheit. Dianne was previously employed for 15 years in the Bakery Department of Jays Markets; with Manor Care North in York, PA; and later retired from Bonton. She enjoyed spending time with her canine buddy "Rascal" and shopping.
Dianne is survived by her husband, John; one son and daughter-in-law, David and Jacquelyn Buckheit of Mansfield, PA; one daughter and son-in-law, Lori and Keith Druck of Dover, PA; one sister, Carolyn Ness of York, PA; two granddaughters, Alexa and Jourdyn Buckheit, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Arlene Bortner, Gloria Landis and two brothers, Edsel and Benrus Stambaugh.
Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Etzweiler Funeral Home, 1111 E. Market St., York, PA. A funeral service will be held immediately following calling hours at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Prospect Hill Cemetery in York, PA.
