Obituary of Margaret McFall
Margaret (Prouty) McFall, age 91, of Tioga, PA, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 in Broad Acres Health and Rehabilitation Center, Wellsboro, PA. Born on April 22, 1922 in Galeton, PA, she was the daughter of Floyd and Rena (Grant) Prouty of West Pike, PA. Margaret was predeceased by her loving husband, Louie McFall.
Margaret loved her Lord with all her heart. She was a homemaker and member of the Galeton Baptist Church where she taught AWANA for 4 years. Margaret enjoyed book puzzles, embroidering, crocheting and camping. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Margaret is survived by a daughter, Evelyn Paul of Tioga, PA; two sons and a daughter-in-law, William Louis McFall of Springfield, MO, Mart and Eunice McFall, Sr. of Canton, PA;; a son-in-law, Jim Carlisle of Concord, NC; three sisters, Ruth Schoonover of Galeton, PA, Doris Mead of Potterbrook, PA, Mary Ann Curtis of Potterbrook, PA, 16 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren and 23 great great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Louis, she was also predeceased by a daughter, Shirley Carlisle, four brothers, David, Clarence, Donald, LeRoy Prouty, a son-in-law, Ted Paul and a great great grandson, Gabriel Crumb.
Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, January 12, 2014 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the West Pike Baptist Church, 517 Old Rte. 6, Galeton, PA. A funeral service will be held immediately following calling hours at 3:00 PM at the church with her nephew, Pastor John Prouty and Pastor Stephen Neff officiating. Burial will be in the Parker Hill Cemetery. Funeral services are under the direction of Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, 637 S. Main Street, Mansfield, PA 16933. www.buckheitfcandcrematory.com
