Obituary of Bill C. Buhler
Bill Christian Buhler, 66, of Morris Township, was peacefully called home to be with his Lord on June 14, 2018. He was born on June 15, 1951 in Texarkana, Arkansas, the son of the late Clarence F. and Lillian Mae (Smith) Buhler. He is survived by business partners, Mervin and Arlene Yazzie of St. Michaels, Arizona; sister and brother-in-law, Frieda and Tom Chapman of Wharton, Texas;a neice and nephews; other family members in Saint Michaels, Arizona and in Morris Pennsylvania.
After graduating in 1969 from Justin F. Kimball High School in Dallas, Texas, he attended college at Texas A&M. Thereafter, Bill owned numerous businesses before settling in Saint Michaels, Arizona, where he owned a parts store in Tse Bonito, New Mexico and a self-storage facility in Saint Michaels, Arizona. In 2005, he followed the Lord's calling and traveled to Three Springs Ministries in Morris to be the missionary camp cook. With care, he prepared the meals for the youth and loved engaging with the young campers as they went through the line to receive their meals. Bill also served in the American Indian Field, called Southwest Indian Ministry Center, Peoria, Arizona. Mr. Buhler was a devoted member of the Vineyard Church in Wellsboro, Pennsylvania and was always a faithful servant in helping in whatever role was needed. He enjoyed snowmobiling, biking, playing guitar, singing and ministering to people. His battle with Parkinson's Disease in the last few years of his life did not lessen his faith and he always responded with a "Better than I deserve" saying when asked how he was doing. At the time of his death, he leaves behind a longtime business and partnership - personal, professional and ministerial. He will be greatly missed by his community, but he is now in heaven free of all pain and suffering.
